About
The Story
Burhani Furniture and Building Product's humble beginning started primarily as a sawmill operation in 1968. It was called Burhani Sawmills for 48 years. After the sons and grandson of the founder joined the business in 1983,1998 and most recently in 2021, it has grown to a fully integrated furniture company while still presiding with the sawmill operations.

Burhani Furniture deals with hardwood and softwood that comes from two sources. The first source is from the sustainably grown plantations such as Teakwood, Mkaratusi (Eucalyptus), Cedrella and Pine. The second source is from the local indigenous forests such as Mkingu (Albizia), Mvule (Iroko), Mnyasa and Mtondoro (Mahogany).

Since 2017, we have grown our business by including a line of power tools and accessories for brands like Ideal, Raider etc.

Our future Vision is to create a one stop shop whereby people will be able to access all sorts of building and carpentry materials.

FLUSH DOORS
Our low cost Flush doors are SOLID-CORE. This means the two plywoods are sandwiched on a timber frame with treated wood spread out all over. This makes the door high strength and more durable.
